The Latest Socks

I guess I'm a sock person. I can't remember how many pairs I have made. Worse than that I have been known to stand in my closet with new socks on my feet and use them to decide what to wear. Sometimes I take them shopping. I will miss my wool socks when the weather warms. Socks and sandals have never been my thing, but the socks will show off so well. Right now they hide in my boots so why worry if they match anyway.

These socks are knit from Knit Picks Dancing. The yarn was a gift from Purl. All of my friends and family know that sock yarn is a great gift for me. It makes me happy!

Finally I Picked Up Purl

We went to our monthly knitting meeting together.Things have been cold between us lately. My snow filled and icy driveway is the culprit. It's been so long since we've seen each other that she just gave me my Christmas present, some nice sock yarn that is now on the needles and will be posted soon. Purl has been spinning . Think yarn not bicycle!

I have been working on chemo caps using a pattern I got on the Lion brand free pattern site. It's made with fun fur and sport weight yarn knitted together on size 13 needles. They are such fun to make, so cute and for such a great cause. I'll be making them at least until my fun fur is gone.
